11. Reinstall the front panel board. For instructions, see “Replacing the Front Panel
Board”.
12. Obtain the cable from the accessory kit and install the cable to the drive and the
server board.
13. Install the server system cover. For instructions, see “Installing the System Cover”.
14. (Optional) Install the front bezel. For instructions, see “Installing the Front Bezel”.
15. Plug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable(s) into the server.
Removing the Optical Drive
1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See “Safety
Information”.
2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power
cable(s).
3. Remove the front bezel if it is installed. For instructions, see “Removing the Front
Bezel”.
4. Remove the server system cover. For instructions, see “Removing the System
Cover”.
5. Remove the front panel. For instructions, see “Replacing the Front Panel Board”.
6. Remove the four screws holding the drive bracket to the server system (see letter
“A” in the figure below), and remove the bracket from the system (see letter “B” in
the figure below).
