Figure 18. Attach CPU Air Duct to Rear system Fan

1. Place Finger Guard (letter C in the figure) against matching holes in Rear System

Fan.

2. Place folded Air Duct (letter D in figure) against matching holes in Finger Guard

and Rear System Fan.

3. Fasten Rear System Fan, Finger Guard and Air Duct together by inserting a nylon

rivet at each of the four mounting holes. Use the new nylon rivets that came with

your Intel® Workstation Acoustic Kit. Do not re-use the old nylon rivets. Note that

the nylon rivets insert from the inside of the fan (see letter E in figure).
